Who are we?

Since 1976, the DuPage Center has provided Sunday services, classes, and other supports to those who want to learn principles for living a healthier, happier, and more prosperous life.  Our members include individuals who were raised in a wide variety of faith traditions as well as those who had no faith tradition.  All are welcome!

Founded by the Rev. Bill Arrott, the Center continues today to serve as a place where members, friends, and guests come together to celebrate life by recognizing the unending good that is always available for each of us to use to empower our lives.

What's Happening

January

Did you know that each negative comment we hear or make about ourselves needs 7-10 positive comments to offset it?

Repeating affirmations is one way of planting positive messages in our hearts, minds, and souls to help us create positive life experiences.

This month's affirmation is found below.   We encourage daily reading (and/or listening), morning and evening, to anchor this knowing in your life.

This Month's Affirmation

New Beginnings

Today is a brand new day. My past does not define me. This day is mine to create.

Click here to listen to the recorded version

In the unending circle of life, the perfection of creation is always creating anew and I am one with this creation and newness.

I know that no matter whathappened years ago, months ago, week ago, days ago, and even minutes ago - it has served its purpose and it is done.

With each new day, I am free to choose the thoughts that create my experiences regardless of the things, people, and events that enter my life path today.

I am grateful for the opportunity to make choices about what I will see, hear, think, and feel about everything in the experience of life I have today.

I am excited to approach this day with compassion, forgiveness, and the wonder and awe of the child that is at the core of my being.

I release this into the action of the Law which always acts on that which I send forth from my thoughts. My thoughts are things and I choose good ones.

And so it is ... and so it shall be!
